Luminarias (Bilingual/Spanish Pre-K-3rd grade)

Each year a group of dedicated Dallas ISD librarians serve as a committee to select 20 Spanish and/or bilingual books as great reads.  The goal was to help librarians within the district do a quality job of selection of Hispanic materials to meet the needs of the young Hispanic community, while staying true to the culture and the language.  Both non-fiction and fiction titles are considered for grades pre-k through grade 3 which reinforce pleasure reading for our bilingual students.
